The Southern California H&I Intergroup is comprised of the delegates from the Hospital and Institution committees, and liaisons from General Service Areas, within Southern California. The SCHII Committee also liaisons with AA Contact on Release, (COR), the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, (CDCR), and the Northern California Hospitals and Institutions Intergroup, (NCHII). Our sole purpose is to establish a stronger unity between the H&I committees and these various entities by the exchange of our experience, strength and hope, that we may be better able to carry out our primary purpose of carrying the A.A. message to those confined in hospitals, jails and prisons. This committee is not a governing body and has no authority to make rules that would affect the individual Hospital and Institutional Committees that are members.

All monthly planning meetings for the 32nd H&I Conference are at 11:00 a.m. at 1661 E. Chapman Avenue, Suite 1-H (central office), Fullerton, CA 92831, as follows:
2012: September 9 (2nd Sunday), October 7, November 4
No meeting in December.
2013: January 6, February 3, March 3
April 7 (meeting at Double Tree Hotel in Orange, CA for walk-through)

"Rocketed Into the Fourth Dimension," the theme of the 31st H&I Conference on April 13, 14 and 15, 2012, at The Bahia Resort, 998 West Mission Bay Drive, San Diego, CA 92109, was well attended, featuring an informative program with fabulous speakers. If you were unable to attend the Conference, plan to attend the next Conference in 2013.
